Currently, when you want to add your own custom navigation tools to Chameleon,
you need to edit mapdhtml.js.

It would be nice if Chameleon would offer a plugin mechanism for this, so that
you could add navigation tools without having to edit a standard widget.

I don't have any ideas as yet how this could be realized though ....
