The "Chameleon JavaScript API" document needs to be completed. This document will basically be an updating of the previous version, without any major additions or deletions. This bug will be used to track the major tasks involved in completing this document. New bugs will be spawned off for each major task involved when that task comes up. Currently, the task list looks like: * Write initial draft (handled in this bug) * Review initial draft * Link appropriately with other 1.99 documents * Final edit * Final review
Changed target to 1.99 RC 1. While not all steps might be completed for RC 1, we need to get at least as far as a reviewed first draft.
Made a little error in assigning when creating this bug. Added cc to compensate.
I have committed to CVS the first draft (DocBook source in docs/xml/, html version in docs/html) of this document. (name = JavaScriptAPI.xml/html) I'll be making a separate bug to track the review of this document.
Since the cwcjsapi widget is not going to be "released" (i.e., it'll still be in alpha/beta) for Final 1.99, the documentation as well does not need to be "final" for 1.99. It will still be there, but we'll just to as quick a pass over it as possible to make sure it is essentially correct. The new set of tasks for this document is: * Update previous draft (handled in this bug) * Quick Review of new draft * Final review
