The Language Widget has lost its purpose as a widget tag within the HTML template, to changes made in 1.99. Defining a the language within the application is either defined: 1) in the index.phtml 2) within the service instance url. eg. Language=..... 3) for a particular attribute group eg. for WaitImage Shared Resource. The actual widget does not seem to server any purpose, except to hold the JS function to switch between language templates. It seems to be closer to a Chameleon Core feature than an actual independent widget.
agreed. I suggest that the SetLanguage function be moved to the core of Chameleon and added to the application if multiple languages are initialized in the application. The Language widget could then be removed. We will need to do this quickly if it is to be included in the features of Chameleon 1.99. I've modified target to beta 3 pending disapproval from anyone. If I don't hear by tomorrow, I will implement for beta 3.
fixed in cvs.
