Feels like I have to "click" a LOT! For instance, when creating a new symbol, the dialog box pops up empty without even one symbol in left column for me to work with. SO I have to add one, click on it in the left column, click all this stuff to make the symbol, then click apply AND click OK. Once it is appearing correctly in the editor, why do I have to click apply before clicking OK in order for it to be saved? Can the OK button be changed to be more like an 'apply and submit' button"(eliminate a step)?. When saving an sld, the save box popup remains open even after the save is complete. Some help buttons or brief description would be useful in the symbol editor (and probably other places). It is initially very confusing when you don't know that you have to build a single symbol up with several layers.
Again this is where the library of styles would fit in very nicely one would start by selecting an existing style, and then only modify what was needed. the user would immediately understand that complex styles are actually layered simple styles. I agree that there needs to be some descriptive text in the SECT windows, much like we do in many Chameleon widgets.
