Description From 2012-12-04 06:27:49
LIBTIFF 4.0.2

The man page for tiff2pdf states: 'Setting the argument of the option to "" for
these tags causes the relevant document information field to be not written.'

When the input is a TIFF file that contains a comment, the comment is used to
populate the subject field even if -s "" is passed as a parameter.

    >pbmmake 16 16 | pamtotiff >! test.tif
    >tiff2pdf -s "" test.tif >! test.pdf
    >grep -a Subject test.pdf
    /Subject (converted PNM file)

Bugzilla is no longer used for tracking libtiff issues. Remaining open tickets,
such as this one, have been migrated to the libtiff GitLab instance at
https://gitlab.com/libtiff/libtiff/issues .

The migrated tickets have their summary prefixed with [BZ#XXXX] where XXXX is
the initial Bugzilla issue number.
