It is not clear to a user what you are suppose to enter in th dash/gap text
boxes. I think that below the text boxes you give an example:

*eg. |  3  |  1  |  2  |  1  |.....*   
      *dash   gap  dash   gap  .....*

I took the idea directly from adobe illustrator.

the have it with "dashed line"  above six boxes labeled "dash" "gap" etc...

Should we provide the units (px) somewhere to tip users who are going to put
something other than numbers in there?
