Why are markers used for lines and polygons styles? Should have things
like "Dashed, Solid, Dotted, Double (for lines)" and "hatch, solid" etc for
polygons.

Stroke vs outline - stroke is not intuitive to us. Bugzilla bug#244 deals with
this issue too.

This symbology part is not intuitive in the studio package.

not sure I completely follow the comment about markers? Do you mean symbols?
The reason why it works this way is because this is the way SLD defines it to
work (as far as I understand it). Conveniently, this is also how mapserver
draws lines :)

Regarding terminology, this is how the SLD spec defines it so I don't think
we'll change it.

The only way we could actually provide pre-canned line and fill and point styles
like debbie is talking about is to offer the users a libry of styles to choose
from. We had considered this, but it is out of scope for this version of SECT.

I'm marking this as an enhancement because it's something that users have come
to expect.
