There was some discussion with Jason the beginning of May about a flash in IE when moving, from the inside, out of the map. There was a conclusion this is caused when the Image Toolbar is on in IE, which is by default. I don't think this problem has been tracked down yet, but maybe in the mean time the samples can get the following meta tag in them: <meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no"> I have also seen flashes in IE recently when using the QuickZoom widget or when using the select lists from the OWTChart application, so there must be something more to this problem ....

I can reproduce the flashing in IE. Removing the the IMage Toolbar does indeed fix the problem, either disabling it or using the suggested metadata tag. I cannot reproduce the flashing using the quick zoom or OWTCharts. Marking this as "works for me".
