I know you guys will not fix this interface issue, right now. But I at least want to have this bug open. Ok, the preview of the Layered style in the Symbolizer are backwards. Meaning the top style is the first layer of the super-style to render making it the style on the bottom. Where the bottom style on the preview list is the last to be render (or overlayed on top of the first style). For example, when styling a double line road. The thick line would hide the thinner style that is suppose to be on top and visible. This how sld loads the style, but visually this is not how people interpret the interface. You could also argue that for the classes it works from top to bottom in rendering each class, where each style in a class loads bottom to top. Going between these interfaces is confusing. In any case something should be done about this.
dropping to P4, we would like more feedback from a larger group before making changes to this.
