I noticed in ie6 you can end the ruler distance measure line by either:
spacebar, enter, esc, and by double clicking the mouse. I think this is a great
improvement, from before.

But in firefox 0.9 the double clicking does not work.

Looking at this one now.  I can reproduce the problem in FireFox 1.0.

I have done somemore investigation into this.  This actually does work in
Firefox.  The only catch is that the mouse must be absolutely still and you must
double-click VERY fast.  This only seems to work 1 out of every 5 times I try. 
I believe the problem occurs due to the order in which the mouse events are
handled in FireFox compared to IE.

I am marking this as WONTFIX because it does sort of work and this widget is
going to be re-vamped shortly.
