When using Chameleon without PEAR installed, it is possible (and in fact likely)
to get either a blank page or an internal server error.  The problem is in the
WidgetManager code that uses require_once 'PEAR/registry.php' ... as this is
required for the installer only, and that isn't ready, I'll comment those lines
out for now.

closing bug chameleon currently works without pear...
