The requirements are listed as:

   Base Requirements:

   MapServer/MapScript 3.7 from CVS as of 2002-11-29 or later
   GDAL from CVS as of 2002-11-26 or later
   PHP 4.2.3
   Apache or other web server

This page and any other piece of documentation that talks of requirements should
refer to released versions of the requirements: MapServer 4.0 and GDAL 1.1.9
