Status: CLOSED FIXED

Whiteboard:

Description From 2003-11-28 11:42:54
At some point the sample application was separated from chameleon 1.1 or rather
package with it.
-------
Comment by Tyler Michell:
I know see that a sample app exists but in the older 1.1alpha4 package.
-------
Should we keep them separate from the chameleon software?

Currently the chameleon sample app is only found under the chameleon download
page, and is not found on ms4w.

Temporary Solution:
==================

I am not sure this is a good idea. We should give the option of the user to
either download chameleon and sample app together or separately, on both the
ms4w page, and possibly on the Chameleon download page.
------- Comment #1 From 2004-04-07 12:08:05 -------
The sample applications will be distributed with chameleon in a 'sample'
directory (not yet created).

There will also be a demo application to be distributed separately.
------- Comment #2 From 2004-04-08 08:37:59 -------
updated version to 1.99
------- Comment #3 From 2004-06-24 10:55:14 -------
changing target to "-", since "1.99 beta release" is no longer valid, since it
is to general.

Paul and Darren should decide at which point during the beta release cycle this
should be resolved.
------- Comment #4 From 2004-07-05 14:37:05 -------
this is actually fixed now, there is a complete set of samples distributed with
Chameleon in the samples/ folder.
------- Comment #5 From 2004-07-05 14:50:29 -------
Paul does the standalone sample will also be available?
------- Comment #6 From 2004-07-07 11:48:05 -------
not AFAIK.
------- Comment #7 From 2004-07-07 14:29:41 -------
Sample will be distributed as being part of the chameleon package.
